best italian food i think i have ever had! we've eaten here several times and it's always great, but today was exceptional. Margherita pizza that initially had a single basil leaf caused me to ask our server veronica if she might spare more. she immediately brought a plate of fresh beautiful basil, to my delight! however, the sauce on its own was so fresh and fantastic, with fresh mozzarella that struck the perfect balance. it is a little loud at times due to the open air concept, so plan for a lively conversation vs quiet romantic.., but we are always so happy with the food!

I saw a video on YouTube claiming that one of the best things to eat in Vegas was the Margherita pizza at La Pizza & La Pasta. I decided to come for lunch to see for myself if that was true. This restaurant is easy to find, on the right hand side as soon as you come into Eataly from the outside entrance. It's apart of the Park MGM. It's a nice looking Italian spot, and I was seated quickly at a table. I ordered a Margherita pizza and sipped on my soda as I eagerly awaited for it to arrive. It wasn't long before the pizza was right in front of me and I was digging in. My preference will always be for some type of meat on my pizza, but as far as Margherita pizzas go this was the best one I've ever tasted. The crust was perfection, with just the right amount of flavorful sauce and cheese. I devoured the entire pizza, which I was not expecting to do. I started chatting with a nice young woman seated next to me and she gave me a dessert that she got with her meal. Bonus! You can meet awesome people in Vegas! It was called a bundino al cioccolato. I didn't get a picture of it, but it is described as "Dark Chocolate Budino, Crumbled Devil's Cake, Chocolate Glaze topped with Whipped Cream, Chocolate Crunch". You scoop it out of a cup. It was so delicious! It's meant to be shared as it was too large for me to eat it all. I was very thankful for this gift of a budino, despite all the calories it added to my meal. I look forward to going back to try both again the next time I'm in Vegas.

Food: FETTUCCINE AL BURRO DI TARTUFO E PARMIGIANO (3/5) - the pasta was kind of rough and hard to chew on but the flavors were nice CALAMARI FRITTI CON ZUCCHINI (5/5) - crispy, lots of lemon, and sauce compliments dish MARGHERITA VERACE TSG (4/5) - decent pizza, cripsy crust Service: The staff were super nice and engaged in some conversation. They were always attentive by checking up on us. Ambiance: It's a clean restaurant that's in an open space next to the food court area of the hotel. The area is pretty and nice. Different types of crowds come to dine here.

First, Eataly has been on my food bucket list for ages and ages and I finally got here. This is a restaurant within where you need to either put your name on list to get in or do advanced reservations. We decided to start our food journey here and do a sit down instead of the different counters. I liked the décor, and the staff was relatively friendly, but the prices were almost too much for me to afford. We only got two items to share and was over $60 for tiny portions. First, we split the margarita pizza with plenty of fresh parm and we also split the cacio e pepe with plenty of parm. The pizza was really good, nice crust, tasty cheese, we had some fresh olive oil to dip. The pasta portion was miniscule, so tiny. But, the pasta was some of the best I have had. It was the perfect al dente texture and the best cacio e pepe that I have tried. I am seriously craving it right now. I could have eat two or three of those portions myself alone, it was so good. If I lived closer to an Eataly, I would be back. We did not eat dessert here since we got some outside the restaurant but still in Eataly. That is the good thing about this place, you can eat around the different areas and order a little bit at a time.
